“I play, therefore I am.”
We think of gaming as a form of play, and play as an integral part of life—something that defines us as human beings. We like to think of gamers beyond the 18-34 Caucasian male demographic.
We are not a news agency, nor do we provide a comprehensive database of reviews. We write essays and reports on four perspectives—industry, academia/research, culture, and politics/law– and share interviews with people who help make the sphere of play more rich and diverse. We also solicit a lot of articles from contributing writers.
Play As Life is published real-time on the web. As of 2008, we no longer publish a printed version.
